Limestone Coast Dental is not a new business. We have been around for over 50 years, previously as Ferrers Street Dental Surgery.
We service patients from the entire Limestone Coast Region and South West Victoria - Robe, Kingston SE, Bordertown, Keith, Millicent, Mount Gambier, Penola, Padthaway, Naracoorte, Beachport, Casterton, Portland, Hamilton, Edenhope, Coleraine, Heywood, Warrnambool and all the towns, townships and farms in between.
Limestone Coast Dental is 100% locally owned and operated.
We have 5 dentists and 3 Hygienists, plus a host of reception and nursing staff (currently 14).
The new building aims to provide a comfortable experience with modern surroundings and décor, a light filled environment with pleasing street and garden views.
Easy off-street parking is available, plus there is ample parking available in the near vicinity. Wheelchair access and amenities are provided.
There are facilities for babies, infants and children as well as the mobility impaired.
We have 10 treatment rooms and all have ceiling mounted televisions to provide entertainment during the consult.
We have some of the newest technology in dental care including CEREC CAD/CAM (for same day ceramic restorations), specialist lasers, digital radiography (x-rays), OPGs (full jaw x-rays), intra-oral cameras and Zoom laser whitening.
Also we have our own on-site Prosthesis Laboratory (Gambier Dental Laboratory) which produces all of our night guards, mouth guards and dentures right here in Mount Gambier.
We have Nitrous Oxide sedation (happy gas) available in every room, plus also a regular visiting Anaesthetist to offer Intravenous Sedation.
We partner with local and visiting specialists to provide a full range of services from complex oral surgery to specialist periodontics and orthodontist work.
We focus our business towards trusted Australian Suppliers and support local businesses where we can. We do not send work out overseas, nor do we use companies that forward their work overseas.
Your safety is our primary concern, and accordingly our staff are highly trained and we have the latest in Sterility Control and Management, with each sterile item bar coded and traceable to the individual patient via our computerised dental records.
Many further safety items are inherent when building from new as current building and hospital grade standards need to be applied, so this building meets all the current accessibility guidelines and regulations on electrical, water and medical services.
We hope you visit and experience the difference.
We always welcome new customers and we aim to help people out with emergencies. We normally keep appointment times available for people that find themselves in distress.
